Our Glow-Up & Show Up Process from Beginning to End

Pretty websites are great… but if they don’t tell a story, customers will click away into the internet-sphere, never to be seen or heard from again. We see this happen all the time, and with over 15 years of experience, we know exactly how to help.

Step 1: Strategy

We begin by guiding you through a series of questions and exercises designed to get specific about your target audience, the goals you have for your company, how you want to show up in the world, and much more.

**Why it’s helpful:** How can you get to know someone if they don’t know who they are? It’s the same with a business. Let’s discover your business’s personality so we can present it to the world!

Step 2: Mood Board

Just like a person’s personality shows up in their interests, drives, and values, a business’s personality is expressed through color palettes, fonts, and descriptors. Once we have the strategy clearly defined, we craft a mood board worthy of your business.

Why it’s helpful: A mood board gets everyone on the team (from copywriter to designer to developer) swimming in the same direction. It’s the unifying North Star to guide us through the rest of the process.

Step 3: Copy

The best way to construct a website that converts is to start with the copywriting. Together with a copywriter, we craft the story of your business. Site visitors will know exactly what your business is and why you are the answer they have been seeking!

Why it’s helpful: Russell Brunson said, “A confused mind always says no.” And isn’t it true? When was the last time you said to yourself “Oh wow, I have no idea what I’m seeing here – Take my credit card!” Having clear and correct messaging is crucial for a website, and a business, to be successful.

Step 4: Design

With the copy in place, it’s time to paint the walls! Referencing the mood board, we layout the colors, fonts, and powerful visuals (i.e., photography, infographics, illustrations, etc.) into an attractive flow.

Why it’s helpful: Telling a visual story that’s easy for a site visitor to follow is paramount. We want the design to make the copy and the story stand out.

Step 5: Development

With the copy and design squared away, we build the site to be functional as well as beautiful. Our favorite platform to build on is Showit, but we don’t discriminate. We love whatever platform will support the functionality the website needs.

Why it’s helpful: It’s pretty self-explanatory as to why development is helpful. You gotta have a functioning website!

Step 6: Launch

We make the switch from the old website to the new, glowed-up website! In preparation for a site launch, we help our clients get up to speed on the inner workings of the entire site, including analytics. We want you to know exactly what’s happening out there on the interwebs as people peruse your site.

Why it’s helpful: Learning how to review site analytics and how to operate the functionality of your website will put you in the driver’s seat to make the most of your new site!

Step 7: Marketing

We put in several months of work on a beautiful new baby, and now it’s time to show them off! Setting up a strong marketing plan with systems in place to support it is crucial to get the most out of your investment. We help our clients devise an effective plan and roll it out over several months of targeted work. Some of the strategies we deploy at this stage are: SEO (search engine optimization), content marketing, paid advertising / pay per click ads, and more.

Why it’s helpful: Getting eyeballs on what we’ve built makes all the work worth it! Let’s partner on getting your website into the world and watch the conversions roll in.

And that’s how we do it! If you’re ready to have a year full of growth, fill out our inquiry form here and let’s chat.
